Tell me what
you're working on.

A few sentences about the company, what stage you're at, and what you're trying to figure out. That's enough to start.

Primary contact

Email is the best way to reach me. I respond to all first inquiries, typically within one business day. If it's not the right fit, I'll say so directly and, if possible, suggest a better resource.

What to include in your first message

  • What the company does and what stage it's at (pre-seed, funded, live service, etc.)
  • What you're trying to figure out or what you're preparing for
  • What kind of engagement you're thinking about, even if loosely
  • A link to your site if you have one

LinkedIn is fine for a first connection and a short note. For anything substantive, email is more reliable. I check LinkedIn regularly but respond faster by email.

What to Expect

Honest, direct, and useful from the first conversation.

Do you take on all inquiries?

No. I work with a small number of companies at a time and take on new engagements selectively. If it's not the right fit based on stage, type of work, or timing, I'll say so clearly in my first response, and I'll try to point you toward something more useful.

What does a first conversation look like?

Usually a 30-minute call after an initial email exchange. I'll ask about the company, the situation, and what you're trying to accomplish. You'll get a direct read on whether and how I can help before any engagement starts.

Do you work with companies outside games?

My background is in games and game technologies and design. If you're in an adjacent space (media tech, interactive entertainment, simulation, AR/VR) there may be a fit. Email me and I'll give you an honest answer.

What's your availability for new engagements?

Availability varies. Email is the best way to check. For advisory work, I can typically take on new clients within a few weeks. For Fractional COO engagements, lead time can be longer given the time commitment required.
